Who We Are
Team 7619B (Highland-B) originated from Highland High School Robotics Club located in Bakersfield, California. We compete in VEX Robotics competitions against other high schools competitors or clubs in Kern County.
We currently compete in VEX VRC competitions. This year our vex VRC game is "In the Zone". We have five members on our team. Our driver, Alec Alvarez, dedicated the majority of the time (when not building) on learning and practicing drive control of the robot. Our builders, Hetkumar Ghadia and again Alec Alvarez, spend their time building the robot from VEX parts and practice its capabilities. Our programmers, Kaled Barraj, Jesus Tirado, and Zane Scott, all focus their time on programming the robot with controls and autonomous and help with other problems when needed. .
